Favre said he won't rule himself out Sunday

It appears that Vikings head coach Brad Childress will have to make the final call on QB Brett Favre playing Sunday against the Patriots.

Favre, who has two fractures in his left ankle and foot, did not practice Wednesday but said he is "willing to give it a try" on Sunday.

Speaking to the Vikings' media Tresor Paris Earrings hey said it- Patriots M, Favre, 41, also was wearing a walking boot to protect his foot. An MRI revealed a stress fracture in the ankle and an avulsion fracture in the heel.

After consulting with doctors, though, Favre doesn't need surgery. If he plays Sunday, it would be his 292nd consecutive start in the NFL.

"If I'm going to play, I want to play the whole game and give us a chance to win," he said on Wednesday.

Childress likely would make the final call to go with Favre or backup Tarvaris Jackson against the 5-1 Patriots.

"You have to weigh both Fake Tresor Paris Necklaces, what he's telling you (and your opinion)," Childress said. "I've said before, sometimes you have to protect people from themselves as well."

The coach and QB appear to be at odds on some of Favre's decision making. Childress called out Favre a few times in his postgame press conference following the Vikings' loss to the Packers Sunday night.

Favre acknowledged that Childress probably was right in some of his criticisms and said the two have discussed it privately since.

"Emotions run high for players and coaches," Favre said. "I can't disagree with some of his comments. I'd be the first to tell you there (are) plays I should have made Cheap Tresor Paris Earrings, plays I should have read differently."

Favre later added: "That doesn't mean we have to agree all the time."
