Patriots players of the week
Patriots players of the week

The Patriots' offensive, defensive and special-teams players of the week in their 23-20 win over the Chargers in Week Seven.

Offense: QB Tom Brady

Brady, like the rest of the Patriots' offense Brady's comments about Patriots not surprising_792, did not play well, but he wins this honor through the process of elimination. Brady did look like himself in the second half, completing 10 consecutive passes throughout two scoring drives spanning the third and fourth quarters. But for the most part, the Chargers' defense stifled him with good pressure and solid coverage. Without Brady's big second half, though, the Pats don't win that game.

Defense: S Sergio Brown

In his first career game Patriots of 2007, Heat faced similar fan obstacles, the undrafted rookie out of Notre Dame made several key stops, but none bigger than the final offensive play of the game for San Diego. Covering Pro Bowl TE Antonio Gates, Brown made a crucial tackle Cheap Tresor Paris Earrings, leaving the Chargers short of a first down and forcing a field goal that, following a Chargers' false-start penalty, Kris Brown missed Tresor Paris Necklaces Sale, giving the Pats the win. With top safety Patrick Chung and backup Jarrad Page out with injuries, Brown came out of nowhere and had a huge debut.

Special Teams: PK Stephen Gostkowski

Since starting the season by making just one of his first four FG attempts after signing a contract extension, Gostkowski has now made nine consecutive field goals. He nailed all three of his attempts on Sunday Fake Tresor Paris Necklaces, with a long of 40. With the Patriots' offense stalling often in the red zone, Gostkowski made sure the Pats would not be empty-handed. Seems his early-season struggles are over.
