Dolphins give extension to GM Ireland

GM Jeff Ireland has signed a multiyear extension with the Dolphins, the team announced Saturday morning, with owner Steve Ross saying that Ireland has management's "full support moving forward."

Ireland has been the team's general manager since the conclusion of the 2007 season.
